REPUBLICANS LEADING DEMOCRATS Press Association —By Telegraph —Copyright PORTLAND (Maine), September 10. (Received September 11, at 8 a.m.) The Republicans are leading the Democrats by at least two to one in all the five major contests. In Washington the Republican chairman (Mr Martin) said the Maine election returns definitely heralded the end of the Roosevelt Administration, indicating the election of Mr Willkie in November and a Republican majority in the House.
