LAWN TENNIS

ADTEA CLUB l Mr D. Mason presided at the annual meeting of the above club, held last evening, in the St. Clair School gymnasium. The election of officers resulted: Patron, Mr J. Bowie; president, Mr D. Mason; immediate past president. Lieutenant O. D. F. Bowie; vice-presidents Messrs Colquhoun, Robson. J. Doig, R. Callander, A. G. Williams, and the Rev. Bowie; secretary, D. H. Strachan; General Committee—Mrs Strachan and Mrs Williams, Misses L. Colquhoun, Sharp, G. M'Phail, and Messrs Williams, Weavers, Hanning, Robertson, and Adams. The opening day was fixed for September 21. when a Yankee tournament will be held.
