HOCKEY ON SKATES

SOUTHLAND V. OTAGO. SATURDAY NIGHT Southland will meet Otago again tomorrow evening, when the big representative hockey-on-skates match will be staged at the new De Luxe 11 ink, Filleul street, opposite the Town Hall. Hockey on skates is the fastest game in the world, and some interesting thrills should be provided. A supporting skating programme has been arranged, and will include the of the Otago graceful-skating championship and the waltzing championship. There is ample seating accommodation at the rink for spectators, who are assured of an enjoyable evening’s entertainment. To-night’s session, from 7.30 to 10, will include the shoppers’ concession—admission and skates 6cl between 9 and 10 p.m. Three big sessions will be held to-morrow—morning 10 to 12, afternoon 2.30 to 4.30, evening 7.30 to 10.45.
