ELDERLY MAN'S DEATH

The adjourned inquest on the body of Donald Hutcheon _ (65), who died in the Dunedin Hospital on September 3 as the result of a fall from his bicycle at Timaru on August 12, was concluded this afternoon, Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M., acting as coroner. Sergeant Hogg represented the police and Mr M. Joel watched proceedings on behalf of the relatives of the deceased. Sergeant Hogg said that inquiries made at Timaru had failed to disclose that any other vehicle was involved in the accident. had apparently fallen from his bicycle at the corner of Sea view Terrace arid Sefton Crescent as the result of a skid. The Coroner returned a verdict that death had been due to injuries, the result of a fall from a bicycle at Timaru.
