HOCKEY ON SKATES
SOUTHLAND V. OTAGO—SATURDAY NIGHT Southland will meet Otago again on Saturday evening, when the big representative hodkey-on-skatcs match will be staged at the new De Luxe Rink in PiTleul street, opposite the Town Hall. Hockey on skates is the fastest game in the world, and some interesting thrills should be provided. A supporting skating programme has been arranged, and will include the final of the Otago graceful-skating championship and the waltzing championship, There is ample seating accommodation at the link for spectators, who are assured of a very enjoyable evening’s entertainment. To-night’s session will extend from ' to 10 o’clock. Instruction is given at every session, commencing midday, and private tuition is also available. Telephone 10-692.
