COMMUNITY SING

“ HOSPITAL DAY " To-morrow a special appeal will be made for the earphone fund for the patients in tho Dunedin Hospital. The “ sing ” will bo hold in the Strand Theatre (by courtesy of the Fuller Theatre Corporation Ltd.). Owing to tho Daventry news being on at 12.30, the “ sing ” will start at noon. One of the nurses will bo heard in vocal numbers, and other nurses will assist. Mr H. P. Desmoulins will be the leader, with Mr A. Pettitt at tho piano. A good programme has been arranged which will include tho latest ‘ Beer Barrel Polka ’ and ‘ Boomps-a-Daisy.’ Mrs MTntyre would be pleased to receive flowers for the stall. Particulars are advertised.
