Dr J. M. Moorey, Ph.D., left by thei express this morning en route for Australia. Hon W Downie Stewart returned* yesterday from Wellington. Mr and Mrs R. S. McKenzie returned from Wellington by the express yesterday. ' ; Sir Charles and Lady Norwood are. at present in New York. They had intended to visit England, but in view of the war they have decided to return to New Zealand, and hope to be back in Wellington towards the end of next month , „ • , • The Right Rev. T, E. Riddle, moderator of the Presbyterian Church, who left for Australia at .the beginning of the month, is returning to Auckland, and will be in New Zealand for some months before going back to his mission work in the Punjab, India. Mr Charles A. Winn, for 26 years 1 with VVrigglesworth and Binns, the last 16 as Dunedin manager, is resigning at the end of the month for health reasons. Mr W. J. Mountjoy, secretary of the Wellington Employers’ Association, who was the employers’ representative on the New Zealand delegation, to the I. conference in Geneva in June, is expected to he back at the end of this week. The death during the year of Air,. R. S. Bladk, a member of the executive of the Otago Expansion League for; 17j years and also a vice-president, was referred to at the. annual meeting last night by the president (Mr H. M.
