HOCKEY-ON-SKATES
To-night’s extended session at the new De Luxe Rink, Filleul street, opposite the Town Hall, embraces the latest skating numbers, with prizes for the special skating competitions. Included in the programme will be the second heat of the Otago graceful skating championship. The rink is open daily from noon, and private tuition may bo arranged. Special attractions are advertised for Saturday night. Southland will meet Otago in the hodkey-on-skates. which should provide some interesting thrills. The programme also includes the final of the Otago graceful skating championship and the Otago waltzing championship. The skating programme will bo continued until 10.45, and spectators and skaters alike are assured of an enjoyable evening's entertainment. For reserved seats or skates telephone 10-692.
