The net profit of North Broken Hill for the year ended March 80, 1939, after providing for depreciation, MS: ation, and royalty, amounted to £330,187, according to a cabled advance announcement authorised by the directors* The net profit last year v totalled £475,153, while the 1937 figure wm £910,628. The 1939 profit is the lowest since 1934, when £273,355 wat earned. The decline in earnings is qua mainly to lower metal prices, • DOLLAR RATES.
