TALBOYS HOME CONCERT

On Saturday night a concert was given by the Port Chalmers Presbyterian Bible Class boys, and a very fine .programme was rendered and was much appreciated by ( the old people. The following contributed; —Hymn, ‘ Mine Eyes Hath Seen ’ quartet, ‘ Wise Old Horsey,’ B.C. members; accordion solos, Mr Pellett; monologue, Mr Fraser; recitation, Miss P. Wilden; community singing; baritone solo, Mr J. Rogers; humorous sketch, B.C. members; community singing; humorous sketch, B.C. members; monologue, Mr M’Clymont; tenor solo; Mr A. Hanna; quartet, B.C. members (‘Bridge Builders’); tenor solo, Mr Hanna; baritone solo, Mr J. Rogers; closing hymn, ‘ Abide With Me.’ Mr Macphenson thanked the boys for their splendid programme, after which they joined hands and sang ‘ Auld Lang Syne,’
