The attention of the sporting and music-loving public is directed to the advertisement in this issue of the Monster Invasion Carnival ” to be held in the Pioneer Hall, opposite Queen’s Gardens, commencing on Wednesday and concluding on Saturday next, the night of the Southland-Otago match. The carnival has been organised by the Otago Women’s Hockey Association and the Kaikorai Band. Both these bodies have done much to raise the standard of sport and music in the city, and deserve the support by the public. A large array of games and amusements has been got together.
