QUARTERLY MEETING Tlio School Committees’ Association of Otago bold its quarterly meeting last night. The (president (Mr A. Robson) “vas the chairman, and there was a representative attendance or owing loyal resolution, moved bv the Chairman and seconded by Mr J. Clyde; was adapted:—“That this gathering, representative of the various school committees of Otago, desires to express its loyalty to the Government in the present crisis, which baa been forced on our Empire, and takes this opportunity of affirming its allegiance to our King and country, and of stating its intention of rendering whatever assistance may be found l neces- ' report on the annual Dominion conference of school committees, held at Auckland at the beginning of the, month was given by the Chairman, who was the Otago delegate with Mr Clyde. The Chairman also elaborated on several points of particular interest contained in the remits.
