RECORD SUCCESS EXPECTED Pr«M Association—By Telegraph-Copyright; MELBOURNE, September 21. Notwithstanding the war conditions, the Royal Melbourne Show, which was opened to-day, will continue for the next 10 days, and is expected to be a record success. The entries in all sections are a record, and it is hoped that the attendances will make a new record by exceeding 500,000. The show will also be open at night. Some of the entry figures are as follows; —1,250 horses, 1,000 of the best breeds of British sheep, 1,000 cattle, 1,000 dogs, and 1,600 poultry. The judging began to-day, but will not be completed till the week-end. AATiile a great improvement is noted in chfe-'e and butter. Iho judges said that they had not yet readied the oversea standards.
