COMMUNITY SING
■ BOOMPS-A-DAISY ’ On Friday, ‘ Boomps-a-Daisy.’ will be introduced at the sing. The British Army has adopted this as its marching song, and it is also a party dance, having become more popular than ‘ Lambeth Walk ’ and ‘ Chestnut Tree.’ The dance will be demonstrated in Dunedin, and it is hoped that a large audience will be present to learn it.
