ROLLER SKATING TO-NIGHT

Roller skating is a pleasure on the up-to-date noiseless skating floor at the new De Luxe Rink, Filleul street, opposite the Town Hall. The latest programme will be presented this evening, including the ten-step, shadow waltz, veleta, palais glide, in addition to twostep. waltzing, gliding. Prizes will bo awarded for the special skating competitions. Special attractions are advertised for Friday and Saturday evenings. At 9.30 on Friday, Wellington will meet Otago in a representative hockey-on-skates match. This should provide some interesting thrills. On Saturday evening the first heat of the Otago graceful skating championship will be decided. The rink opens at noon. Tuition is available at each session, in addition to private tuition (Telephone 10692).
