STORING OF PETROL
WARNING TO MOTORISTS [Per Ukited Press Association.] WELLINGTON. September 19. The oil fuel controller stated today that it had come under his notice that prior to the operation of the emergency regulations a number of persons had secured stocks of petrol as a reserve supply and that this petrol was being stored ia drums and other
containers under conditions which did not comply with the safety regulations under the Explosive and Dangerous Goods Act and without a license under that Act. It was therefore notified for public information that it wag necessary for a license to be taken out a where more than, eight gallon* M petrol was stored*
