AMATEUR CYCLING
SELECTORS APPOINTED At the monthly meeting of the Otago Centre, New Zealand Amateur Cycling Association, held last evening, the following selectors were appointed for Dunedin to select riders to compete at the New Zealand road championships to be held at Wellington on November 11: —Messrs H. W. Laws and J. A. Johnston. The centre decided to ask the Invercargill Club to appoint two to act with the Dunedin selectors. A. Cooke was granted a transfer from the Dunedin Club to the Poneke Club, Wellington. The secretary was instructed to write to the centre’s delegate on the New Zealand Council asking him to make in?uiries as to what billets are available or Otago riders competing at the New Zealand road championships. The date of the annual meeting was fixed for October 25.
