Invercargill, Riverton. Orepuki, Halfmoon Bay : Pressure is high over New Zealand, with an anti-cyclone centred to the north. A series of depressions is passing in the south. Forecast: Moderate to fresh northerly to north-westerly winds. Some scattered rain possible in the south-west, but weather mainly fair to cloudy, with milder day and cold night temperatures. Seas slight to moderate, but rising somewhat in Foveaux Strait, LOCAL REPORT. Maximum temperature to-day, 64deg. Maximum yesterday (24 hours), 63deg. Maximum Saturday (24 hours) t •56.2 deg. Minimum to-day, 58.5 deg. Minimum yesterday, 46.5 deg. Minimum Saturday, 37.1 deg. Barometric pressure at I p.m., falling at 29.95 in (1,014 millibars). Slight westerly breeze. AT OTHER CENTRES.
