The following table furnishes a guide to investors. It shows the trend of the market over 12 months for a comprehensive list of securities, and the rate of interest obtainable to present-day purchasers, the calculation being based on the latest dividend. Brokers’ commission is not allowed for, except in the case of Government loans, where redemption and accrued interest are also considered.

In view of the disturbed state of the market, an overnight change in the valuation of certain stocks listed below as the approximate price yesterday must be allowed for.
