REUNION AT TIMARU The Otago-South Canterbury Rugby game at Timaru last week-end was the occasion for a reunion of a number of well-known sportsmen from Christchurch. whose visit for the New Zealand Rifle Brigade Reunion coincided with the representative Rugby game. The party comprised Mr J. K. Moloney (president of the Canterbury Rugby

Union), Mr R. Beattie (treasurer of the Canterbury Rugby Union), Mr G. Paul (well-known trotting handicapper), Mr T. Burgess (a leading cricket umpire), and Mr H. Davis (who was a New Zealand Rugby selector in 1924 and 1925). All were present at the game, and they agreed that Otago had given one of the most attractive displays of Rugby seen this season.
