Mackeuaie King), in the House of Commons, said that High Commissioners for Australia and New Zealand might be appointed shortly. The war had made more necessary rapid interdominion communication, and High Commissioners in other dominions would further effective co-operation. Canada, the Prime Minister said, had indicated to the Australian and the New Zealand Governments that she would welcome an exchange of High Commissioners, and they had intimated that they would cordially receive Canadian representatives.
