*EVENING STAR' PRODUCTION To fill a definite need of readers of the war news, to-morrow's issue of the ‘ Evening Star ’ will contain a large-scale war map of Europe specially compiled by the 'Star’ staff, ‘including an inset giving all essential details of Poland, it will measure approximately 22in by 15in. For the benefit of those who desire to mark dispositions of troqps, lines of advance, etc., the map is being reprinted on a specially strong cartridge paper, and as it will provide the basis for most of the sectional maps to be published in the 1 Evening Star ’ from time to timp readers should secure a copy. Markings should be made in pencil, as the paper has been selected to withstand a considerable amount of erasing for the alterations which will become necessary with the movements of the armies in the field. Priced at sixpence a copy, these maps will be available at the ‘ Star ’ Office from 9 a.m. on Friday. Orders will be accepted at lid extra for posting to any address within the Dominion and overseas. Wholesale orders will also be accepted from booksellers and stationers. A large-scale map dealing with the western front and showing the positions of tho permanent fortifications is in course of preparation and will also be distributed in a similar manner when ready.
