Detective Blackburn said that when 1m was interviewing the accused woman at her house on the day of the alleged offence she ran downstairs, and he overtook her just in time to prevent her throwing a. roll of notes down the lavatory. He recovered the roll, which contained notes valued at £l3l. Later, the accused said she had been given the money to mind.
