“DOING HIS BIT”
M.P. TRAVELS ON HORSEBACK [PiiK United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, September 9. Mr H. S. S. Kyle, M.P. for lliccarton, is “ doing his bit ” towards conserving the country’s petrol supplies. This afternoon he arrived on horseback at Spreydon School, where he opened a new dental clinic. . During the ceremony the chairman of the School Committee (Mr L. Ditfort) said that ho was speaking at a disadvantage, but it would show the need of a dental clinic. He was without his denture. . Mr Kvle followed this up by apologising for" appearing in riding breeches Ho was without petrol.
