AOTEA TENNIS CLUB
AKNUAL MUEETING The annual meeting of the Aotea Tennis Club was held last Thursday evening in the St. Clair School Gymnasium Hall. There was a fair attendance of members. The annual report and balance sheet, as read, were adopted. The newly-elected president, Mr O. Bowie, referred to the splendid work done by the past president, Mr D. Mason. The following office-bearers were elected':—Patron, Mr J. Bowie; president. Mr C. Bowie; immediate past president, Mr D. Mason; vice-presi-dents —Mr H. Colquhoun, Mr J. Doig, Rev. I. G. Dome, Mr R. Callander, Mr A. G. Williams; hon. secretary, Mr A. G. Williams; lion, treasurer, Mr D. M’lnnes; club captain, Mr C. Ross; sole selector, Mr D. Mason; committee —Misses N. Sparrow, J. Pearson, L. Colquhoun, and M. Begg, Messrs J. Begg, E. Henry, J. M'Phail, and E. Weavers; delegates to Dunedin Lawn Tennis Union, Messrs D. Mason and A. G. Williams.
Opening day was fixed for September 23, at 2 p.m., with a dance to bo held in the evening.
