ARRAHGEMENTS FOR PAYING HOMAGE EACH DOMINION PRIME MINISTER TO APPEAR. Press Association —By Telegraph'—Copyright LONDON, October 7. The ‘ Manchester Guardian’s ’ gossip writer says: “ Whereas at previous Coronations the Prime Minister has paid homage to the Monarch on behalf of himself and all the Empire representatives, it has been decided, by virtue of the Statute of Westminster’s equal status provisions, that each dominion Prime Minister shall pay homage to King Edward separately.” AUSTRALIAN CONTINGENT PROPOSED SYDNEY, October 9. (Received October 9, at noon.) The Commonwealth Government has decided to send a contingent of 150 men to the Coronation ceremony, provided that contingents from all the dominions and India are to be included in the programme. Mr Lyons said the A.I.F. would be represented in the contingent to the extent of not less than 50 per cent.
