CHURCH FLOWER SHOW
RAVENSBOURNE METHODISTS The Ravensbourne Methodist Church spring flower show was opened yesterday by Rev. T. A. Pybus. The good exhibits and well-stocked stalls attracted a good attendance, and the West Harbour Municipal Band played during the evening. Stallholders were:— ' Sewing.—Mrs Thornicroft and Mrs Cleveland. Sweets.—Mrs D. Milnes, Mrs Robb. Cakes.—Mrs J. T. Milnes, Mrs Horsburgh. Produce. —Mrs Bradshaw, Mr* White, Mrs Cooper. Flowers. —Mrs Manley, Mrs Henclerson. Refreshments.—Mrs Petrie, Mrs F, Gerry. Following were prize winners:— Decorative. —Mrs Warne 1, Jean Coutts 2. Cut Flowers.—Mrs J. T. Milnes 1, Miss Thornicroft 2. Narcissi.—Miss Woodhouso 1, Miss Wilson 2. Cooking.—Mrs M'Farlane 1, Mrs Keay 2. Fruit Cake.—Miss Campbell. Confectionery.—Mrs S. Milnes. Preserves. —Mrs L. Perrin. —Children’s Classes.— Flowers.—Jean Coutts 1, Allen Keay 2. Cooking.—Jean Coutts 1, K. Milnes o Scripture Writing.—Audrey Mahs 1, Daphne Jeffries 2. , During the evening Mrs W. J. Hen* derson presented the prizes to the successful ones.
