WOOL TEXTILE COMPANIES
IMPORTANT MERGER IN ENGLAND Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, October 6. (Received October 7, at 10 a.m.) An important wool textile merger is announced. Salts Saltaire Ltd. has purchased the share capital of the Pepper Lee Co. Ltd, the Wike Mills Company Ltd., and Popplewell and Ingram. The business will be run as heretofore. The fusion, it is expected, will avoid overlapping, and doubtless result in considerable economies.
