TRANSPACIFIC SHIPPING
FASTER TRANSPORT SERVICE SYNDICATE FORMED IN SYDNEY. SYDNEY, October 6. (Received October 6, at 11.25 a.m.) Mr Brendan Dowling, a Sydney accountant and company who arrived in Sydney by tho Mariposa, said a syndicate had been formed in Sydney to establish a faster transport service between North America, New Zealand, and Sydney. Two liners would be placed on the transpacific service as soon at practicable.
