(Received October 2, at 10 a.m.) The ‘ Morning Post’s ’ Rome correppondent says Signor Mussolini favours »n Anglo-Italian Mediterranean understanding, a five-Power Locarno, •world money stabilisation, a conference for reform of the League, and the reentry to it of Germany. By contrast to his previous violent fulminations, Dr Gayda, in ‘ Giornale d’ltalia,’ urges real Anglo-Italian cooperation, and adds: “ Any idea of contesting Britain’s freedom in the Mediterranean never entered our minds.”
