BOXING
HICHOL OUTPOINTS DE CANS [Pun United Pmss Association.] PALMERSTON N., October 1. Claude Nichol (Australia), who was just on half a stone heavier than his opponent, beat Roy de Cans (America) on points in a 15-round contest at Palmerston North last evening. There was rather too much in-fighting for the spectators, but it was an interesting duel between a heavy puncher and a clever boxer.
