£l5O FOR CRIPPLED CHILDREN
POLICE RUGBY MATCH RESULT

AUCKLAND, October 1. On behalf of the police Superintendent S. Till handed to the Mayor of Auckland to-day £l5O for the crippled Children’s fund, the money being the proceeds of a recent Rugby football match between Auckland and Wellington police teams at Auckland. Mr Till said the match was a great success, and it was hoped to arrange more at future dates.
Mr Davis acknowledged the generous motive prompting the gift.
