tiny.” He then says: “O comrade, do not sully yourself by turning towards the stinking sewer of Geneva. Stand firm, preserving your calm hilarity.” The poet concludes by saying that “ Loaded with years and solitdde,” he wishes “ to die for the new old Italy.”
