Recruiting for the Territorial Army in Britain is said to be better in thos# districts where means of entertainment are scarce. Sunday’s toll of fatal road accident# in Britain is very low. Less than 18 per cent, of the week’s fatalities happen on that day. The trustees of Milton* s Cottage at Chalfont St. Giles are appealing for £1,200 to buy a field to savo the beauty of the cottage.
