Wood), who had suggested the appointment in view of the recommendations concerning the,, administration of the hospital contained in, a special report by Mr G, Grey Campbell, a public accountant, and discussed at a series of special meetings recently. The Chairman, suggesting that a director should be appointed at a salary of £1,200 a year, rising to £1,500 at the rate of £IOO a year, and that the position should be advertised throughout New Zealand and the different States of Australia, quoted from.
