LIKE “LANGISM”
NEW SOUTH WALES VIEW OF LABOUR POLICY BREAKDOWN EXPECTED [From Our Parliamentary Reporter.] WELLINGTON, September 29. The policy of the New Zealand Labour Government was being watched with anxious eyes in Australia, especially in. New South Wales, where there was a feeling that it was the same thing as “ Langism,” said Mr Kyle, M.P., who has returned from a visit to New South Wales and Victoria. He said many people to whom he spoke expressed surprise that such momentous changes were accepted so quietly by tne people. They had a feeling that the Government’s Socialistic policy would not be a success, and that there would be a breakdown before long. Asked regarding conditions generally in Australia, Mr Kyle said that it was making a wonderful recovery, and the Commonwealth Government had reduced taxation by five millions.
