After having occupied the position of groundsman at Eden Park, Auckland, for the last 30 years, Mr George Mills has decided to retire. His successor will be Mr Harold C. Watson, a former well-known Otago and Canterbury cricketer. Mr Watson waa groundsman at Carisbrook for 10 year*, and subsequently received an appointment as groundsman and Coach for Chnst a College, Christchurch, where he remained for a period of six years. Shite then he has been fanning in the Bay of Plenty. Mr Watsott has always been recognised as an authority on the preparation 4nd maintenance of cricket wickets, and his wide experience should make Mm a valuable addition *0 the summer garde in Auckland.
