Woods bad secured a fall in the fourth round. At the Leichhardt Stadium Billy Meeske was disqualified in the fifth round of a bout with the Russian, Nick Dneprovsky. Each secured a fall. Joe Keatos defeated the New Zealander, Bob King, the former securing the only fall in the second round of a four-round contest.
