OVERTURES TO AUSTRALIANS Freu Association —By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, September 25. The ‘ Yorkshire Observer ’ reports that the Huddersfield Rugby League made overtures to the Australian test three-quarters, Rearden and Crippen, who are each asking a bonus of £I,OOO, so Huddersfield is not going further in the matter. Dave Brown is reported to have refused one club’s oner of £1,250, and now his figure is supposed to be £1,500. Brown captained the Australian team that met the English team.
