Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, September 26. (Received September 26, at 1 p.m.) On the grass at Randwick Gold Rod did six furlongs in Imin 20sec, the last four in 51}. His work continues to give every' satisfaction. In the best four furlongs of the morning Palm beat Barak in 50sec. Gustos, going a little better of the two, led Cerne Abbas over six furlongs in Imin 16}sec. On the tan Silver Ring, after pace work, went easily over four furlongs in 53sec. Cuddle did four furlongs in 52sec with something in reserve. Cereza made the fastest sprint—three furlongs in 36}sec. On the Victoria Park course proper Silver Jubilee sprinted well. He races at Hawkesbury to-day. Sporting Blood galloped very well, doing a mile in Imin 44}sec. Rob Roy beat Bobby over a mile in Imin 45sec. '
