TENSION LESSENED
THE SHANGHAI INCIDENT , JAPANESE PATROLS WITHDRAWN Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright SHANGHAI, September 15. (Received September 26, at 1.30 a.m.) The tension is lessening. The Japanese have withdrawn the patrols from Chinese territory, except at the Japanese Embassy and in the vicinity of the spot where the Japanese bluejacket was murdered. Chinese and international settlement police have resumed control.
