Hytten, who will attend the Federation of Chambers of Commerce Conference at Wellington, and the Minister for Defence, Sir Archdale Parkhill, who will attend the air mail conference.

Interviewed before his departure, Sir Archdale Parkhill expressed the opinion that a transtasman air service would be in, operation within 13 months.
