SOVIET GOLD MINES
NUMBERS OF EXPERTS OFFERING VISAS REFUSED TWO FROM NEW ZEALAND. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, September 26. (Received September 26, at 11 a.m.) D. and G. Borcovsky, two Russian goldmining engineers who settled in New Zealand some years ago, have arrived in Sydney following a fruitless attempt to gain a visa_ in London to enable them to work in Soviet gold mines. They were informed by the Soviet Embassy in London that the Soviet gold mines could not absorb the number of experts offering, and they might have to wait six months for appointments. They, therefore, have decided to return to New Zealand.
