EXTENSIVE DEVELOPMENTS PUNNED [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, September 25. A decision to seek authority from the Local, Government Loans Board to put to the vote of ratepayers proposals to borrow £349,500 for city works was made at a special meeting of the City Council.' , The suggested works, each of which would be subject to a separate vote, are as follow : Rongotai Aerodrome improvements, £70,000. . . Road, footpath, and reservoir improvements, £30,000. Bathing sheds, £26,500. _ Branch libraries in suburbs,, £lo,ooo. Cemetery improvements, £B,OOO. Sewerage system improvements, £200,000.
