FORESTERS
The half-yearly summoned meeting of Court Excelsior, No. 6,128, A.0.F., was held in the court room, Durham street, Mornington, on Tuesday evening last. The C.R., Bro. E. Simmons, presided over ■ a full attendance of officers and a large muster of members. The report of the general efficiency competition, which was on hand# showed that Court, Pride of Green Island were the winners, Court Excelsior being placed fifth. The election and installation, of. officers for the ensuing term then took place, and resulted as follows: —C.R.. Bro. R. S. Bremner; S.C.R., Bro. _R. C. Lamb; S.W., Bro. W. D. Cunningham; J.W., Bro. L. L. BoatwooS; M.S., Bro. K. C. A. Strickett; 5.8., Bro. E. H. Lamb; J. 8., Bro. J. G. Scott: M.C., Bro C. W. Patton. The members of the District Executive present— IPD.C.R. Bro. Olsen, D.T. Bro. Jiiope D.W. Bro. E. Clayton—were welcomed and toasted by the C.R. The newly-elected officers were installed into their respective positions by the members of the District Executive. IP D C.R. Bro. Olsen presented PC R Bro. W. M. M'Minn with his PC!r’ certificate. Following this Bro. Olsen presented the H. L, - Thomson Euchre Cup as. won by the court secretary for the second time in succession. Bro, Olsen was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for the courteous attention which ho had rendered to the court’s business during lus term as a district officer. Invitations were received from Courts Robin Hood and Littlejohn - Supper brought the meeting to a close. - ■
