MOVEMENTS. —Coastal.— Kaimai sailed yesterday afternoon for Oamaru, Timaru, and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington, Nelson, New Plymouth, and Westport. Breeze was delayed off the Heads by fog this morning, and arrived at midday. She is scheduled to load out this evening for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. Gale, which is to come out of dock on Saturday, will load out. the same day for Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui via ports. Wainui was to leave Wellington today for Dunedin direct. She is duo on Saturday, to sail the same day for Bluff, returning to load out on Tuesday for Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne via ports. Waimarino, at present in dock at Auckland, is expected to leave there to-morrow for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is due here on Wednesday, to sail the same day lor Bluff. Holmglen is now scheduled to load at Dunedin on Saturday for Wellington, New Plymouth, and Port Waikato via ports. Holmdale is due on Monday to load out for Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui via Oamaru, Timaru, and Lyttelton. —Overseas — Karetu, from Newcastle and Sydney via Bluff, berthed at Dunedin yesterday afternoon. After discharging focal cargo she will sail to-morrow afternoon for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, and Miramar to complete. Narbada, from Calcutta via northern ports, is due to-morrow to continue discharge. She is to dock for cleaning and painting at Port Chalmers, and will sail on Tuesday for Bluff. Tamaroa is due hero to-morrow to continue Homeward loading. She is to sail on Saturday for Wellington and Auckland to complete, and is to clear the latter port finally on October 8 for London via Panama. Canadian Scottish is due on Saturday to complete discharge of her Montreal cargo. She will sail later for Australia and Montreal. John Knudsen arrived off the Heads yesterday, but was prevented by fog from entering the harbour. She was expected to berth to-day. Chifuku Maru, from Japan via northern ports, is due to-morrow to continue discharge and loading. She is to sail the same day for Japan via Australia. Ashburton is now expected to-mor-row afternoon to complete discharge of her New York cargo. She is to sail the following day for Australia. Wairangi, from London via ports, is expected at Port Chalmers on October 9 sailing on October 11 for^Bluff. INTERISLAND EXPRESS. The intcrisland express steamer Rangatira arrived at Lyttelton from Wellington at 6.45 this morning. Passengers and mail for the south connected with the express.

PORT FAIRY FOR MONTEVIDEO, The Port Line motor ship Port Fairy, which is to leave Auckland on September 30, will now call at Montevideo, as well ns Teneriffc, on her voyage to London via Cape Horn. NAVIGATION WARNING, The Marino Department issues the following warning to master mariners. On September 17, the master of the s.s. Kawau reported passing a log, approximately 18 feet long, a mile ana a-quarter north-north-east of Rangitoto beacon. ISLANDS SERVICE. Replacing the damaged Matua, which is due back at Auckland about next Saturday from Rarotonga, are the Port Whangnrci and AVaipaui. The Port Whangarei left Auckland on Saturday for Nukualofa, and the AVaipahi on Monday for Suva and Apia, both vessels returning from the 'slands to Auckland.

O.S.K. LINE SAILINGS. Tho Federal Company advises that the first three sailings in the O.S.K. Line’s resumed separate service from Japan to New Zealand will be:—Sydney Maru, leaving Kobe on October 2, and Moji on October 4; Melbourne Maru. leaving Moji on November 4, and Brisbane Maru leaving Moji on December 4. Tho vessels are due at Auckland on October 23, November 22, and December 22 respectively, and after discharging at Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin, return to Wellington and Auckland to load for Japanese ports, proceeding via Ceylon, Manila, Hongkong, and Shanghai, AT OTHER PORTS.
