PRIME LAMBS IN AUCKLAND PARK TWEHTY-SEVEH DEAD OR INJURED [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, September 23. Twenty-seven prime lambs were found this morning in Cornwall Park with their throats torn or necks broken as the result of worrying by dogs. The, park superintendent was aroused at 2.30 and also at 4 o’clock when he fired on two dogs, probably wounding one. The lambs were in prime condition, and presented a sorry spectacle. Every lambing season dogs visit th* park, but this is one of the worst experiences.
