Advice has been received at Auckland that the motor vessel Malua, which struck a reef in the Cook glands, is making good speed, and is expected to arrive at Auckland on Friday instead of Sunday, After unloading her cargo of fruit she will probably he docked at Devonport for inspection of the slight damage done to her rudder and port propeller. The Matua left Auckland on September 10, and ordinarily was due back on Tuesday next.
