POOR PUSS!

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I quite agree with “ Not a Money Grubber ” that all butcher shops should be kept open to supply meat to poor puss, oven if meat is close upon £2 per 1001 b. And fancy a butcher’s shop being empty at 11.30 on a Saturday morning! No wonder, if poor puss is to be thought of first instead of human beings.—l am, etc., Three Half-pennies. September 22. TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—Poor puss has a grievance, but what about the butcher who has to pay close on £2 per 1001 b for the moat, and “ No Money Grubber ” wants 2d worth for a cat? It would not pay for paper and siring; he should teach his puss to catch birds.— I am, etc., ■Ri-tciier. September 22.
