Richardson will lead one of th« teams in the Bardsley-Gregory testimonial match. The New South Wales Cricket Association accepted M'Cabe's resignation as captain of the side, which will now become Richardson's team. M'Cabe, in a letter to the association, pointed out that Richardson had been a wonderful player for Australia, and th» public and players would appreciate it if he led the team.
